Fashion does not keep up with the transformations of our busy and active life, and therefore clothing designers are in constant search for new comfortable and practical casual models, pre-a-porter dresses, jeans and shorts. They create fashionable images – replicated bows that quickly disperse among fashionistas of all ages.
For ideas, fashion designers turn to different sources – archival magazines, old collections, museum exhibits and historical eras, and there are craftsmen who look for inspiration in the folk, ethnic costumes of their native land. Since the early 2000s, fashion houses and private designers have been in Central Asia successfully create author's clothing collections based on the style of traditional women's costumes of the late 19th and first half of the 20th centuries.
They create eclectic models, deftly playing with ancient silhouettes, ornamental compositions and other decorative elements typical of folk costumes. More than once, Central Asian fashion designers have won prizes at prestigious fashion shows.
