Teachers provide the power of education to today's youth, thereby giving them the possibility for a better future. Teachers simplify the complex, and make abstract concepts accessible to students
Yes , we need and appreciate teachers but I should mention that we love, need, respect then not just for their look but for the way how they teach. There are hundreds of methods of teaching in the world. You might have heard some of them, they are Teacher-Centered, Small Group Instruction, Project-Based, Montessori and others.
What Is Project-Based Learning?
Project-based learning or project-based instruction is an instructional approach designed to give students the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills through engaging projects set around challenges and problems they may face in the real world.
As an example we can give an art project.
Arts projects are an excellent way to engage students in the arts. In this type of project, students use their creativity to create a piece of art. This type of project allows students to express themselves and explore their creative side.
Teacher-Centered Instruction
Recognized as the most conventional approach, the teachercentered methodology is based on the idea that the teacher has the main responsibility in the learning environment. Teachers are in charge of the classroom and direct all activities. Typically, in this approach, students are seated at individual desks that face the teacher. While group work may
take place, most classroom time is spent with the teacher explaining concepts and assigning individual work. In other words, students passively absorb the information while the teacher actively delivers it.
